Purpose-built for Chefs and Expeditors.

A high-volume kitchen requires different views for different roles. Aroma KDS provides distinct, optimized displays for the line cooks and the expeditor.

The Chef Display

The Chef views incoming orders and taps to "Pick" a ticket. They can update the status to "Start Preparing", and mark individual line items as "Prepared" as they come off the grill.

The Expeditor Display

The Expeditor (Expo) sees only the orders that are fully prepared. They verify the tray for accuracy, add the finishing garnishes, and tap to change the status to "Being Served".

Item-level status tracking.

Unlike basic kitchen displays that only let you mark a whole ticket as "Done", Aroma KDS tracks the status of every single item individually.

Each dish holds a "Prepared" or "Not Prepared" status. This allows the expeditor to look at a large 10-item ticket and instantly see exactly which single item is holding up the entire table.

FAQ

Yes, absolutely. You can set up as many KDS screens as you need. For example, you can have one screen dedicated to the Grill station, one for the Fryer station, and one for the Expeditor. Aroma POS intelligently routes specific items to the correct screens based on your menu configuration.
